How we help

For Schools
We offer unique and holistic digital-first projects that not only complement and enhance the national school curriculum but also offer young people the chance to learn valuable digital skills.
From coding and robotics to film-making, social media and mental health sessions, our programmes give under-served young people the chance to experiment with digital technology and encourage them to confidently step into one of the fastest growing industries in the world.

For Businesses
Sponsor our school programmes and celebrate your commitment to people, places and under-served communities across Greater Manchester. The digital skills gap is widening across Greater Manchester and we need your help to reduce the distance.
Through our work, you’ll help make a difference to the perspectives and prospects of under-served young people and support the digital space with more enthusiasm and talent. We’re passionate about bringing new opportunities to more young people. If you are too, we’d love your support.

The children of Oldham have faced adversity like us all during the pandemic. Whilst the headlines in the media will highlight the actions of a few, they often neglect the great depth of talent and service that many young people demonstrate on a daily basis. During the pandemic, those without the right equipment, those from less affluent families and those with social, emotional or special needs all found this a greater challenge. However, for some there was still hope. For some, those willing to do things differently, to ignore the barriers and instead focus on talent; they saw this not as a risk but an opportunity. Skills4All demonstrated a that enviable trait of resilience and hope. They sought to work within the framework of the pandemic restrictions and beyond, to engage a group of young people who had a message that amplified their positivity and talent. Using their own leadership and tenacity, Skills4All made it their business to afford a platform to those young people at Newman College and beyond, who had a positive and inspiring message to share. They coached, cajoled and collaborated with these young people over a sustained period, to produce work of such quality that it has been recognised on the national stage. We do not need convincing of the talent that is in Oldham, but occasionally we do need those vocationally driven people to see beyond the difficulties to ensure that they can share it. Skills4All has most certainly done this and I recommend them without reservation.
Mr G.R. Potts MBE, DL, Headteacher
“We would like to say thank you for taking part in our Summer School here at Newman College with the new year 7s who will be joining us very soon. We, as well as the prefects and the students, enjoyed your sessions and took home some very valuable lessons and areas in which we can adapt to minimise or improve our social media usage.”
Miss Mankoto
Teacher of English and Summer School Lead“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Rubbi and Reddy as a deliver on the Skills4All programme. I was provided with clear guidance on what they expected from the sessions and was provided with all the resources to deliver the workshops effectively. Whilst Rubbi and Reddy had a clear structure for the sessions, they also afforded me the flexibility to adapt the sessions appropriately and as a result, the sessions were very well received by both the school staff and the year 6, 7 and 8 pupils that attended. I’d have no hesitation in working for them again in the future”
Jamie Edmondson, Computing Curriculum Consultant and Specialist Teacher of Computing
JEcomputing“Working with Skills4all for several months has been an absolute pleasure. Each board member not only bring their own extensive knowledge and skills to the team, but also a commitment and dedication to delivering the best learning experience for students. Their energy is channelled into creating bespoke learning programmes which are very much learner-focused, and this approach ensures that each student has the opportunity to develop their digital intelligence in a way that suits their learning style.”
Dr Martin Morris
Action Together (Oldham)“Thank you for the recent online and in class ICT sessions regarding online safety. The children were highly engaged and have been talking about the topic since, ensuring they are now more aware of the safety implications of passing on their personal information online. Since the visits from Skills 4 all, children have thought more about their passwords and their digital identity and are making positive steps to keep themselves safe when online. We have even developed the APP ideas started with yourself for children to learn more about which sites are safe for them to use. We are looking forward to working with you again in the future.”
