Summer Holiday and Food Club Joy
Here at Skills 4 All, we’re not afraid of doing things differently, which is why our Summer Holiday and Food (HAF) clubs have been a roaring success.
The young people attending have had a selection of interactive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths) activities to choose from.
From animation and programming robots, to composing digital music and filmmaking, the young people have been thrilled to learn lots of new skills.
In addition to the problem solving, and team building exercises, we have also provided every child with a freshly made, wholesome hot lunch, complete with fruit snacks and water.
To finish off our fortnight of club activities, we treated the young people and our terrific staff to a well-deserved classic ice-cream cone.
A special thank you must go to Oldham Council for the funding.

Partnering with The Rio Ferdinand Foundation
We always relish our partnership led projects which is why we were overjoyed to collaborate with The Rio Ferdinand Foundation.
Working with young people who are considered NEET (not in education or employment) we created a robotics programme that aimed to inspire.
Our co-director Reddy was in his element setting the tinkering, debugging, sprite, and coding challenge.
The young people rose to the challenge and were engrossed the entire session.
Who loved it more though: the young people or Reddy?

Future Careers Exhibition
Our co-directors spent the day at a secondary school inspiring the next generation on all things STEAM career focused.
They joined several other employers at the annual Blue Coat school Futures Exhibition.
The day was an invaluable opportunity for around 600 of Blue Coat’s young people to learn more about post-18 provision.
We were delighted to be able to attend and help inspire many minds.
Reddy and Rubbi brought along some of their film-making kit and robots – both of which were well received by the students.
After the event, our co-directors were invited to speak with over 200 Year 8 students about their career experiences.
What a delightful and fun-packed day!
